It's so nice of them to speak so kindly of their experiences in Salt Lake. We enjoy having them in our city as well.

I am dating myself, but I remember going to the old SaltCon back when it was held in the Hotel Newhouse (that was grand!). It was also well-attended, and still intimate. I will never forget meeting George Takei outside the hotel asking me if I knew where he might purchase a toby mug. I couldn't help him but he was super nice as were Alan Dean Foster and Robert Heinlein. I have been several times to MegaCon (Orlando) and AdventureCon (Knoxville-- now talk about intimate!), but will always have fond memories of my first con in Salt Lake City! I hope everyone who attends enjoys him/herself immensely.
