Should have just had 1 t-shirt for all the home games:
A picture of a piece of cake.

All BYU home games are just that, very easy games.

I don't like these kinds of shirts. We should only be wearing shirts that support the Cougars and not those that are negative toward other schools. I have seen some incredibly tacky anti-BYU shirts at Utah State when BYU played them. These shirts were really immature. Quite honestly, I was embarrassed for the people who were wearing them. I wouldn't want us to do something similar.

All it does is make people think we are insecure, classless and have a chip on our shoulder. I would hope we are better than that and would to refuse wear shirts that denigrate other schools.

We can be great fans and support our Cougars While only wearing shirts that are positive toward BYU.

Rico... while you are right about 3 of the teams BYU plays, become original instead of trolling. Tiresome. Why the Deseret News keeps allowing such nonsensical letters is amazing... they only keep legitimate readers from staying on line to read this nothingness. You are demeaing some good teams with your sweeping generalizations.

Houston is a tough game for anyone. So is Utah State. Why demean them? UNLV and Reno are typical MWC fare. Virginia should be about the same as Georgia Tech, but they are P5 schools and that makes beating them very important. As for Savannah State... it was either Utah or SVS and SVS had the guts to play BYU while the U chickened out.

"Houston you have a problem" is not creative, nor is it funny.

Ok lets get this thread going. I wonder what one would say if TTDs was playing Utah next week?
come on cougar fans lets see what you would want on the t shirt.

Sorry Cats, this 74 year old thinks the shirts are a good deal. Just ordered the season's worth so I'll have the requested color to wear. Personally, I do not think they are offensive, nor intended to be. Just some cleaver play with words. If someone, besides yourself, takes offense, they'll get over it.

"All BYU home games are just that, very easy games."

You're right, those will be easy games for BYU. Thanks for complimenting the talent of our football team. Even though you're trying to smack down our schedule, you are also complimenting our team. If we were as much of a terrible mid-major as utah fans would like to think, these wouldn't be "very easy games".

Remind me how the utah vs. USU game went last year. That wasn't easy for the utes. But it will be for BYU, according to your comment.

Remind me how the utah vs. Colorado game went last year (Colorado is just as bad as Virginia). That wasn't easy for the utes. But Virginia will be easy for BYU, according to your comment.

So you claim that the games that were hard for utah will be easy for BYU. To me that says one thing: BYU is better. Your comment has officially backfired.

@ Taysom4Heisman

BYU's isn't a terrible mid-major. It is a very good mid-major program, and I think the home slate is composed of teams who are (mostly) below BYU's level.

Have you guys ever heard of a joke or having fun? The shirt is just taking a dumb jab at an opposing team. It's not insulting anyone's mother or religion, so let's all just settle down. It's no different than what a lot of signs say at games. It's not predicting a win, either. I love football and I'm as passionate as anyone about it, but let's remember this is a GAME. We are a society of political correctness and forced apologies, and are way too tightly wound and easily offended as it is these days.

Rose Bowl call yet?

Since there's no longer any such thing as a "major", they're now called P5s, there's no longer any such thing as a "mid-major", they're simply called non-P5s.

Try to stay up.

It's gotta be tough being the only non-P5, in a P5 conference.

Got my order in! Awesome idea guys.

Now...the rest of you. Quit yakking about the schedule & order your shirts.

Seems like there is a lot of time spend on tee shirts most years. Anyone still have the 'Quest for Perfection'?

Actually they're called G5 (group of 5) teams. BYU is a de facto G5 team, just as ND is a de facto P5 team. But what do I know, apparently I need to "stay up"

BYU isn't in either, and since they don't have a scheduling agreement with a conference, like Notre Dame, there is no "de facto" designation for BYU. As an LA Times sportswriter said earlier, BYU is somewhere in the middle, neither a P5, nor a G5, or whatever.

How about "Savahnah Doesn't Smile." People in Provo thought that movie was the next Gone With the Wind! I think it's brilliant. Royalties in care of Xert please.

Talk to your T-shirt maker, not some on-line poster.

There are 65 P5 teams. You are either in (P5) or out (G5); it's that simple.

You know, that home slate is actually pretty good. Houston and USU are very good right now. UNLV made a bowl last year. Nevada had an off year last year. Virginia is payback time. Savannah State is the first and likely last look the Cougar faithful will get a glimpse of an old SWAC team (all-black Universities). I consider that game as a special experience. Those programs always have the most incredible marching bands.
