Kurtz being out for possibly 2 months is a major blow. I was really looking forward to watching him play. This is very disappointing.

I thought Zac Stout had pretty much solidified a starting spot at inside LB. What happened to that?
Is he on suspension?

Sounds like the O-line has the defensive coordinator frustrated...
That is a good sign that maybe the O-line really has improved.

Another preseason injury... Coaches may need to back off a little in pre-season if they want their stars to play in the games.

Oh rats! The season has not even begun and already the dreadful injury monster has already raised it's ugly head. So sorry to hear about Nick Kurtz's injury. At least it's at the beginning of the season so he still have time to heal and get back. Good luck and best wishes for a speedy recovery young man!

The team has had, what, six workouts, and there are reports that two potential starters are already sidelined? What is going to happen when they start two a days and really hitting?

Oh Really?

For those worried about too much hitting...

"For days in which institutions schedule a two-a-day practice, live contact practices are only allowed in one practice. A maximum four (4) live contact practices may occur in a given week, and a maximum of 12 total may occur in preseason. Only three practices (scrimmages) would allow for live contact in greater than 50 percent of the practice schedule.
