"Felt’s Factoid(s): Although they haven’t played Bingham since 1992, the Pirates can claim one thing over the powerhouse Miners, a 24-21-8 series advantage."

Yes but that isn't really fair. Cyprus is the team that Bingham has played the most (53 times). Bingham and Cyprus (and Murray and Tooele) were the core region foes from the mid-1920s to the mid-1970s. Other than the 4 years that Cyprus was 4A and they were region foes (1989 to 1992, before there was a 5A), they have not played since 1976. So while Cyprus holds an all-time advantage over Bingham, it was not gained while Bingham was a powerhouse. If Bingham and Cyprus had met annually over the past decade, while Miners were the powerhouse you reference, I'm guessing that advantage would be in Bingham's favor.

Bingham went from 1976 to 1988 without a winning season, from 1963 to 1991 without a region title and from 1946 to 2006 without a state title. Other than the periods 1939-1946 and 2005-2013, Bingham has been anything but a powerhouse and it was those non-powerhouse era's when Cyprus and Bingham played most of those games.
