That is the issue here. Our society can not let criminals roam at will and go unpunished. Funding for law enforcement, prosecution, and the courts must be increased. A society is only as good as the treatment of its elders.

What in the world? Crime rates are actually at the lowest (per capita) since the 70's. Yes, we do hear/read about so much crime one would think it was a crisis of impending doom rather than just sensualized news.
