    Staley is BY FAR the best running back BYU has ever had. I hope he can resolve the issues he has with the program and come back into the fold. The program made some mistakes - they should acknowledge them and offer him an apology. Would love to see Luke around the program more often - he'd be such a great asset.

    You're right, it was a knee injury that ended his NFL career.

    It wasn't a knee injury. It was a foot/ankle injury.

    If BYU's Doak Walker Award winning running back hadn't suffered a season-ending knee injury at Mississippi State, BYU likely finishes the season undefeated with a win in a major bowl.
