Yeah, I got tricked into those nachos at Chili's the other night. I want my money back.

This is simply called marketing so why get so excited. Everywhere we shop we are being marketed to whether at the grocery store, at a Jazz game or any other professional or college or high school game, at Walmart or Target or Costco. If one owns a business or if one shops for anything, marketing is being applied.

We only order water unless it comes with the meal. A lot of money is made from soft drinks. You can purchase them at the grocery store on sale for way cheaper. If you must have them, drink them at home. Many times restaurants will reduce their prices if you arrive before a certain time of day before the evening rush. Also, coupons come in mailers, online, or in the newspapers. Often times you can buy one and get one meal free. We don't eat out much because of all the higher prices now in restaurants. I would also include movie theaters. Have you noticed how expensive food items are once you get in the door?

If you had told me that a bottle of water would cost $3-$5 in today's world, I would have never believed it years ago. So why waste that kind of money? If I am going out to a sports event, etc., I take my own water. If going somewhere that doesn't allow water to go inside, I take my empty container and fill it inside (even at the airport!).

Many ways to save money!
