WOW! Thank you for sharing such a personal story. My prayers for "Miracle Max" will be added to the growing number of people already praying for him.

I believe in miracles. I EXPECT miracles!

I just read this story..My husband and I are on a mission in NM and we live in Cedar Hills. We pray for continuing miracles for Max and strength for each family member

Prayers of comfort and peace and healing are needed for the family in Houston Texas. All but one of the Stay family were killed by a gunman when he invaded their home. The 15 year old daughter survived and was able to call 911 which saved other family members from this gunman but she remains in critical condition. Prayers are definitely needed there for both families of the parents who were killed. They were a lovely LDS family in the North Houston Stake, I think.

As for Max, prayers do continue. He is a miracle as well. God bless them all.

He has burns over 40% of his body, could have died, and they give him a blessing before they get him urgent medical care? Couldn't the blessing have come after they sought out medical care? Sad story. Hope he makes it as well as that poor girl in Texas.

I'm hearing about Max and they Stay family in Alberta. Canada. Seems like prayers are coming your way from all around the world!

It would be good for the family to let the community know what Max was doing that caused the explosion. It could be a wake up to other youth contemplating similar experiments if it was. It isn't necessary to criticize a teenager; it might be necessary to let others know in order to avoid a repeat.

Is it known what caused the explosion? If so why doesn't this article state why or st least say the cause is unknown.

He is obviously a very thoughtful/considerate kid. Thinking to reassure his parents he not to worry he will be okay at a time like this. My thoughts and prayers are with him.

Re fully present

Quite likely the blessing came after they doused him with water and called the ambulance / life flight and before the life flight arrived.
