I'd have to agree with the claim that our high school memories are some of our most powerful experiences. I was almost 13 when I moved to the Bountiful area. In a few years I made friends with 2 good kids who were like brothers to me. We did EVERYTHING together all through high school right up through all of us going on missions for the LDS church. With them, I felt accepted and safe. Video games at the Four Corners arcade (Friday nights $5 got you &7.50 in tokens) where we played for at least 2 hours (you get good at the games, ya know!), trips to Pace's Dairy for ice cream, movies and our favorite activity...going to Alpha Beta for a box of cherry Pop-Tarts and a quart of chocolate milk before driving up into the foothills of Bountiful to just sit looking out over the Salt Lake valley while consuming our food and talking.

Those were many of the best experiences of my life.

I haven't seen my 2 amigos face to face in quite a few years. We exchange e-mails and Christmas letters.

I love those 2 guys and I always will.
