Gee I thought we were producing more Oil than ever before. Why the high proces
if that is the case. Gas is a lot cheaper in the middle east.

follow the traditional model of supply/demand economics, at least not on the
supply side. That's a fancy way of saying they charge these prices because
people will pay them. And people pay them because they have no other
It's a manipulated market. I've seen it in action.
Maybe we should consider nationalizing the oil industry. Affordable
transportation costs are vital to our economy and nation. Perhaps we should
prevent the excessive greed of the oil corporations from standing in the way of
our national security and progress. But whatever we do, let's
not do it in haste.
If liberals/green energy folks were thinking clearly, they'd be happy with
increased gas prices. That could help facilitate a desire of the people to look
to alternative energy sources and drive those little electric golf carts instead
of trucks. But then, as I said, "thinking clearly". That's asking
a lot from that crowd.
