This is the biggest waste of the state's money that I have ever heard of. Mines aren't dangerous if you don't go in them. Those who go in them know they are dangerous. If they are going to close all mines, they should also ban people from Zion's national park (numerous deaths each year) and other outdoor activities such as hiking (numerous deaths each year) and riding atv's (numerous deaths each year). Why is it that they feel the need to waste valuable time and money protecting people who might get hurt, when they are much more likely to get hurt doing something much more dangerous?
