His History of Utah occupies a prominent place in my front room book case. When I want to learn about someone in the early days of Utah it is my first reference. Often it provides details not found in other sources. I recommend it to history buffs because its tone is of an eye witness.

OFW's vision (actually a dream in the night) of Gethsemane contains one slight error. The "3 Personages" that OFW saw were of course, John the Beloved Apostle (who was translated sometime earlier per KJV and BOM accounts) and most likely, John's parents, Zebedee and his wife, whom John was now bidding farewell to until the morning of the 1st Resurrection.

The name of Zebedee's wife was Salome.
