@OneWifeOnly

My use of asylum was incorrect. The Obama administration is using refugee status as an excuse, try searching refugee. There is a specific list.

A person can be given asylum from any country. It use to be rare, Obama has made it commonplace.

The LDS church leadership has told people to come here legally. They urge compassion, but rewarding people with citizenship or allowing them to stay is not compassion in my opinion. Compassion is teaching people right from wrong and enforcing the laws. Would you reward a child's bad behavior and call it compassion? What would the child learn from your actions? That bad behavior was OK?

How about compassion for those who lost their jobs, were victims of people here illegally or had their id stolen? They are doing things right, they should be rewarded.

I defer to God who tells us not to lie, steal or covet. Business needs to clean up it's act and start being a good community member.

Over a million people with very little means come here each year legally (on green cards). Ask them how they do it. There are work visas that can be turned into residency cards, and end up as green cards. Also many organizations that help people. If one million each year can do it, there is no reason the 12 million here illegally can't.

Why is there a fence around the White house? Military bases? etc. Fences make good neighbors. At an estimated cost of $113 billion per year for people here illegally, a fence makes sense financially.

Most people look at the immigration to this country and talk about the 1776-1976 period as wide open and unlimited. A recent poll showed that only 18% of Americans know that we are giving out more green cards now, than any time in history. Double the number yearly from the 1776-1976 period.

" Obama refuses to check voter I.D. which allows MANY illegals to vote in American elections."

And what, do illegal immigrants just get lucky in picking names of registered voters to sign in as? Your claim seems to ignore the fact that there's virtually no voter fraud in this country.

In 2005, the U.S. Government Accountability Office found that up to 3 percent of the 30,000 individuals called for jury duty from voter registration rolls over a two-year period in just one U.S. district court were not U.S. citizens. While that may not seem like many, just 3 percent of registered voters would have been more than enough to provide the winning presidential vote margin in Florida in 2000. Indeed, the Census Bureau estimates that there are over a million illegal aliens in Florida, and the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has prosecuted more non-citizen voting cases in Florida than in any other state.

Two Government offices that have determined that people have voted here illegally.

I learned very early in my public elementary school teaching career that if you wanted to create more bad behavior all that I had to do was ignore the bad behavior and if I wanted to increase the bad behavior at a faster rate all I had to do was reward it. It is human nature that bad behavior will always get worse if there are no consequences.

Not only has the Obama Administration been ignoring the bad behavior of those that enter and stay in the United States illegally, but the illegal aliens are being rewarded with what they came here for in the first place, schools, medical, jobs, and a better life. I really don't blame them, I blame the Obama Administration and the previous Bush Administration for not enforcing immigration laws not only for the illegal aliens, but the employers that hire illegal labor.

As long as the Administration continues to reward illegal immigration it will continue to get worse. Presently due to the lack of consequences the illegal immigrants feel that they have been invited and entitled to enter the U.S. illegally.

I suggest Mike Richards read the 9th commandment then offer proof for his hype.

What we are seeing now is not "immigration," it's invasion. Immigration happens when people are permitted to enter a country. Invasion happens when people jump the borders and demand things of residents. It's like the difference between a house guest and a burglar. Simple and straightforward for anyone with the ability to reason.
