Speaking of faith based films. I watched a great film last night on HBO. It was
a film about how minorities are discriminated against and families are
devastated when people who identify as being faithful attempt to codify their
religion into U.S. secular law. The film is called The Case Against 8. It was a
remarkable film with a happy ending. It also clearly shows that the proponents
of Proposition 8 had not one single example, argument or shred of evidence that
they could present on how same sex marriage could be a detriment to society. The
proponents of 8 simply wanted to discriminate, plain and simple and the U.S.
Constitution did not allow them to do so. I highly recommend the film. All
families should watch it together.
