Ya got that right! Go Ags!
Loved the video of USU doing the chant. However, I am afraid you may have
opened Pandora's box.Utah has the MUSS. USU has the chant.
What does any other Utah university have? When you chant "I believe..."
I'm afraid BYU might try to top you and chant the 13 (well, really only 12
- the other they "claim") things they believe. Not certain but doing it
right like USU does this version could take the entire game.
Great Aggie spirit, nationally recognized. I occasionally drift over to youtube
and watch some of the amazing clips of the Aggie Hurd (best name ever for a fan
base great play on words) in action. The Scotsman is still my favorite all
It is great to be in the Spectrum for a big game. This is not the only chant
that is fun to be a part of. Great atmosphere. Love the Scotsman.
I used to love being in the Spectrum for a big (or small) game and being a part
of such a great atmosphere. Unfortunately it's gone downhill for the past
2-3 years. In fact, I didn't even manage to get myself to a game last
year. I think I lost interest the last time BYU came to town and the atmosphere
went from spectacularly wild, crazy, and fun to base, vulgar, and mean, and I
don't just mean the frat boys on Row 1. There was a big flap over "the
apology" and the team tanked after that game, which kinda took the wind from
the sails. I've been to a few games since, but it the atmosphere and team
just haven't been the same. It doesn't help when every year
there's a whole new roster of players because everyone from the previous
year left. Word on the street is that Stew needs to clean house with his
assistant coaches or he's going to continue to have the same problem every
year.Thank goodness for football!
That said, the "I believe!" chant is spectacular, and I think it's
totally cool that it's caught on for the U.S. soccer team. You're
welcome, from the spot where the sagebrush grows!
I completely agree with Aggie238, what was fun, wild, crazy has gone way to far
in crude and vulgar! The thing that bothers me is that the University appears to
not give a flying rip about this. Fans will be fans, but what those fans are
doing is a reflection on the University and those that run it and they appear to
have no interest in being respectful or classy. When you can't take your
kids to a game because you constantly get, Dad, what does that mean?I'll
spend my money elsewhere, not to mention the team has not been much to watch the
last several years! There has been a lot of fans disguised as yellow seats the
last few years! Don't even get me started on the Jarred Shaw deal...
"I Believe" is an awesome chant! Fans far and wide including Richard,
can be heard shouting it at the top of their lungs!Go Aggies!
I'm sure Chris B(also known as Richard) is using that chant. I Stang08
however think it is juvenile.
