There are some good points certainly in this article and we seem to be approaching closer to the a few basic truths, though I might add more painstakingly than perhaps necessary.

In America we never seem to do anything without "asking an expert" or testing the waters of public opinion, or dodging the confusion and meddling of lawmakers. In all our solutions it seems mandatory that someone is making a buck, or rather thousands of same.

Personally I do not like to base my thoughts and feelings on the kudos or censures of societies or man- or woman- made philosophies, so I will continue to tread my traditional, scriptural ways, or would if I was still of the age to be a father.

Kudos to fathers who submit with tolerance to the ubiquitous goads and carrots of society, and still manage to do what is right and who manage not to be confused about what that is.

Happy fathers' day to all who are, or are becoming, such. Hmmm! most men are suddenly starting to grow beards again in quantity. Who told them to do that? No one. Maybe a good sign.
