No P.J. Hairston, but Pleasant Grove product C.J. Wilcox has good Jazz workout

    I like Wilcox at # 23 as well. The Jazz need shooters to spread the floor to open up the offense. This kid can shoot the bottom right out of the net. Not only that he shows maturity, good character and wants to be here. I would really like to have him on our team.

    If CJ Wilcox is available at 23, it would be a no-brainer decision to draft him. Most of the time really good athletes need to improve their outside game when they move up a level because they've made a living on exploiting lesser athletes physically.

    Wilcox has the opposite issue, which is far, far more easily remedied.

    Wilcox is a *great* outside threat, AND he's a very impressive athlete, at 6-5. He could easily improve his ball handling and maybe even provide minutes as a point guard. If Wilcox somehow falls to the Jazz, he'll be a really, really good player for a long time.
