I didn't raise any children designated as "special needs" but all
children, all people, have special needs and as parents we are given an
unparalleled opportunities when any child becomes a part of our lives.
Parenthood is challenging beyond words, and continues right on when you have
grandchildren and greats, but it is also rewarding beyond words. I commend those
who take parenting seriously, and those who take on exceptional challenges by
adopting children. Parenting is a privilege, and all babies are precious (unborn
Kudos to those who take care of their individual family needs. No kudos to those
that impose their personal views on others who seek to legally and
constitutionally take care of their own family needs. A true believer believes
that their maker will do the judging based on what is in the heart, something a
mortal cannot do.
