    We recently had an article about this in the DN news. Can we leave it alone? Back before the world was civilized, the story was written for the story, not for the politics. I am surprised to see this again in this paper. Maybe we should start complaining about the relatively few male actors in "Little Women," which is also a classic. Please...

    No that wouldn't make everyone happy either. Unfortunately in our current obsession with being Politically Correct and Racially/Gender Sensitive one can no longer just create a good movie.
    The original Star Wars (Episode IV, A New Hope) had a few female roles but only the one prominent female role. Likewise with other roles there was a large variety of sentient species but Mr. Lucas did not create his characters with specific races, genders, etc. in mind.

    Why don't we just make the entire cast female? Would that be enough?
