While it is unusual looking, I didn't find it all that "ugly". The dome shape would lend itself well to decorating with school name, mascot, etc. Saves money and is safer...who am I to disagree with one of these in my school district?

How is this news? This exact same story appeared on KSL on May 13th.
Initially I thought I was loosing it, a personal case of deja vu. Then I started watching
closer, and realized KSL and Deseret News don't produce original content unless it's shared.

I was so tired of repeated news stories like this one, in the newspaper I unsubscribed.

Mount Jordan Middle School has been torn down. Has the Canyon School District got the dome in their design?

It's a great concept, and I think a terrific look for a sports/basketball dome. We need to pursue and improve more innovative ideas just like this all over.

This company has a fairly large facility just east of the highway near Paris TX. Great technology. I'm surprised to not have seen more of these here in the Rockies as cabins etc. due to their excellent energy efficiency.
