I feel terrible for the family. It will be something one never completely gets over, but I hope they get good help.

And I hope the death of this woman reminds women not to ride with the belt put on wrong, and reminds the man or woman driving not to start the car until all are buckled in properly.
I know many women have trouble with the shoulder belt, but the answer - especially on the highway - is to get a pad for the belt, adjust the belt, or get a car that fits you better when you can afford to.

Large SUVs can roll, due to the high center of gravity, but modern vehicles have air bags and structure that means death of properly belted passengers from rollovers is very rare.

My point is not to blame the man and woman for their mistakes, but to save other lives.

Why doesn't this article mention where this family is from???

I heard on the TV news that afternoon that they are from Kaysville (Utah).... just a few miles south of the accident scene. The TV anchor also indicated the vehicle was on the northbound 15. So that implies that the family had "barely" left their point of origin, presumably on a weekend vacation (the photo above shows camping gear strewn about the crash scene).

There is SO MUCH information missing from this article, for a deadly accident that happened over 48 hours ago!!

So, what happened to all the children?? Is there additional Family in the area, who came to the aide of the kids (and father)???

etc., etc., etc. ???
