    PG fANS
love them or hate them, I never seen so many people be all about one team in my life, that if nothings going on right, they are the worst fans around, but if they are winning they make sure to let people know. There Head coach showed one of the worst displays of sportsmanship I have ever seen, especially out of a team who everyone picked to win it this year!
He did a wonderful job with his team through the losers bracket, they survived three games because every bounce went there way, but that's baseball you have to get every break!

I laughed at how EXCITED he was when he played BINGHAM, PG acted like they had just won the state title!
To bad another title for the SL valley schools!

OH and I loved his fantastic giving of SIGNS when he makes it about him self giving about 30 seconds worth of signs!

They are passionate which can be good, but they are horrible compared to the school down there street, the respectful AF cavemen!

Congrats to the Beetdiggers, this years best 5A TEAM!
Jordan and Bingham the last 3 state champs in both baseball and football!

Agree with 'Playaplaya' and 'Eagle' comments. Too much mustard on that PG hotdog for me.

PG fans are spirited but could also step up their sportsmanship. Their constant heckling of Jordan players after striking out was out of bounds. Time for their administration to step up a bit on this issues...

It is nice to see a new winner emerge out of the talent in 5A.
This year's tournament especially the last 2 days has been once of the best we have seen.
PG players held their own against Jordan until Championship game.
As you watch Jordan's position changes you could tell a different confidence came about them.
Shaver behind plate, Gomez on mound, Krueger on 3rd. You through in Lisk at short and keep Hathaway at center, those players cover your entire field. There is alot to be said for players that know play style of one another like those players do.
Jordan losing 10 seniors next year will make a long rebuilding phase, Fife was lucky to take over when he did, because he has the CREAM OF THE CROP in Utah. Anderson must be regretting his step down.
Shaver - Mr. Baseball, Gomez - MVP. Bingham lost out on 4 of the states top players with them going to Jordan.
Great season Jordan. Nice to see Bingham out early. Copper Hills was a surprise this year and Cottonwood out early was a surprise.
    Nothing like High School Baseball

Pleasant grove not a class act. Their head coach can be seen sliding head first past first base after they beat bingham. A classy coach would walk over congratulate the opposing coaches let the kids celebrate the victory. What I witnessed was appalling to all of us in the coaching profession. Bingham coaches had to seek out coach henry to shake hands. Maybe they can win the non existent summer state title again. Congrats jordan

It was a great tourney this year...I enjoyed watching the last two days at UVU. Jordan was the best team "assembled" this season, and Bountiful was the surprise of the tourney.....congrats to both programs!!!

Every single team in the state tourney "faces adversity" at some point in the season. "We have all been through so much" is too cliche and is not worthy of an article heading or article reading any more.

Great games today. Congrats to Jordan of course, but also congrats to PG for a great run through the one-loss bracket. They did better than I gave them credit so kudos to them and Coach Henry.
