I was no fan of the Brenchels, but I half wonder if they wanted the money for
fertility treatments or adoption costs. I can see that costing quite a lot of
money. But if not, then yeah, I feel they should wait till he's out of
school and then just work and save like the rest of us.
The Brenchels burned all their tattered bridges in the last episode. They tried
to sabotage the other two teams multiple times, and then they kept saying they
couldn't have a baby if they didn't win a million dollars. That was perhaps the most annoying thing to this father of five who has never
once had a million dollars. Suck it up, Brenchels, and have a baby like everyone
else. Sheesh.Dave and Connor's win was so great! We cheered so
loud when they won. I kept thinking they were going to falter but they really
were pretty stalwart, and considering they won against all-stars, it's
pretty impressive win!
I was surprised there wasn't some sort of quiz in the finale. I'm
very glad Utah won but it was strange that the only deciding factor in the
finale was a taxi driver and ability to find the employee entrance of the
Mirage. Overall it was an underwhelming finale.
Congrats Dave & Connor. Nice race.
Congratulations Dave and Conner. The only moment in the race that I was not
proud of you was when Dave ranted and made fun of Rachel, who is indeed the most
annoying contestant ever. It was not the best moment. It turned out in the end
that the Brenchels were absolutely correct to U-Turn the team that turned out to
be the strongest. We enjoyed the Cowboys and the Country Singers and would have
been happy to see any of those teams win. But we are the most happy that the
Brenchels did not when, mostly because of Rachel's claims to being so
perfect at everything that she was not. And could imagine that the only way you
can have a baby is to have a million dollars first?
It's so nice to see the good guys win for once! There have been so many
"Mormon" contenders on other TV programs (some of which were not exactly
the best examples of their claimed religion), but in this case, they were and
they won! Congratulations! You have given hope to all of us (and more than you
Awesome!! Nice job guys! I can't think of anyone who deserves it more!
More important than the money must be the memories and the great relationship
these two have after accomplishing this challenge together.
Good job Dave and Connor! You represented the state of Utah very well.
Thank you and congratulations.
