    This is a discussion of fairness. I agree with the board member. If the Eastside community gets more input in their administrators, why shouldn't the Westside get the same input?

    Sounds like a double standard, or the board doesn't think that the Westside/minorities have the intelligence to provide thoughtful input.

    He has a valid point.

    I don't think it should be up to the people when picking and educator or principle, it should be up to a board of educated people who know how to make the right or best decision for the sake of our children...
