Best of luck to all the players with connections to our State. Rivalries are fun but I hope you all have long and prosperous careers.

Best success you FB players in the football draft. Considering the average career longevity for some positions is three years. What are your post-pro career plans? I'm sure the DES news staff can readily access what the players salraries are based on which round they taken in the draft? I think the Des News readers will be surprised how little it is if post-pro career players are trying to make it last 60 more years. Prehaps good advice is to go back to school like Steve Young or Bart Oates did during the Off-Season. I'm sure they don't regret their J.D. Degrees

Would love to see Van Noy go to the Lions. Seeing him get back together with Ziggy would be fantastic and turn a lot of Utah Valley into Lions fans.

It makes sense that BYU and Utah state play at non prestigious independent and MWC level so there are no good enough players to be drafted this early on.
Don't you think prestigious program like Utah should have multiple players drafted in first day?I wonder what happened there.

Wish granted - this is totally cool to have KVN and Ziggy back together again!
