What a wonderful, refreshing take on this song. Loved the energy and enthusiasm. Happy Mother's Day!

this guy is so over rated; you won't see me ever buying his stuff. Why does he have to africanize every song he hears? Boring and so unoriginal.

I love Alex Boye's music videos. He has such a unique style - way cool!!

I haven't seen Alex in the Tabernacle Choir lately. Has his busy schedule resulted in his departure from the Choir?

Loved the diversity of Mothers represented here - young and old, all beautiful in their own rite, busting a move - cute baby too! Thanks Alex Boyer - you made my day!

I got to work with Alex personally at an event, he has an amazing story, a huge heart and wants women especially to succeed after watching his own mother struggle through life. What a wonderful tribute to women. Too bad there are critics everywhere, but I guess if you want to look for the negative in all things, you can find it, just like you can find good in all things...all depends on what you focus on. Thanks for your energy and zest for life Alex!!

sg from Newhall: Oddly enough, you are upset about a man of African descent "africanizing" a song that is supposedly about a woman standing up and being fierce and independent, much like we see animals that roar (Africa or India), that was made with the original music video portraying a jungle (Africa, southern Asia, or South America).

Sometimes it isn't about being "original", it's about doing something well. Boye does that, and gets others involved as well, others that are not professionals, but are having a ball celebrating life. THAT is what's original about him.

I'll buy that every time.

It doesn't matter how many times I've watched this (absolutely dozens!) it always lifts me!
Thank you - HAPPY MOTHERS DAY everyday!
