Common Core is another link to destroying the traditional family, and country.

Schools mandating dress, food, curriculum, activities, and philosophy is feeding the
downfall of this country.

"Correction: Indiana's "new" and incoherent standards in math and ELA were not created by higher education faculty in Indiana but by a committee of K-12 educators chosen by Governor Pence's education policy advisor Claire Fiddian-Green and the Indiana Department of Education.

These incoherent standards were later "evaluated" by higher education faculty in Indiana also chosen by her and the Indiana Department of Education. What these faculty did as part of the evaluation is unknown." -From Sandra Stotsky

@worf

Can you explain how common core is "destryoing the traditional family and country"

I am not sure I follow your logic.

@abrady:

You'll need to ponder, and do some research, but here are some things to go on:

* schools are replacing parents
* schools control what children eat, what they wear, what their opinions are, and what they learn
* common core is just one instrument used to make schools the parent. Students are tested to see if they learned what common core dictates, and held accountable to it. These tests shape, and mold students. Not the parents.
* students are part of one common national group with a central parent, which is not mom,and dad either. That central parent has no conscience.
* the school, and common core, are the village who raises your children.
* handing children over to a central government is dangerous, as children can be formed into a subjective society.
