This is fantastic. And, without taking a thing away from this couple, gay couples can become part of this montage, too. And they're going to, thanks to the state of utah.

Not wanting to be insensitive, but also curious (perhaps a follow-up article after the marriage, down the road a bit) -- but not completely understanding her physical situation... Will they be able to have children? And if so, how they combine their abilities to make that work.

In any case, best of life to both of them... and congratulations on finding love, companionship and each other.

Both other comments referenced an issue I commented on earlier that was not printed.

If, as Utah contends, marriage is about procreation and only procreation, then, if this couple is incapable of having children due to their situation (it could be deadly for this woman to carry a child); then should Utah allow this marriage to take place?

So much better than the notebook or the fault in our stars...

Thank you for sharing this love story. May God bless them!

What an awesome story! Best of luck to this couple. It's beautiful to see how love and faith can make two "I"s a "we" and the whole world gets a little brighter.

As someone with a disability similar to Whipple's, I find his story very inspiring. If I work hard enough, even with my physical limitations, I can accomplish anything.

What a beautiful story! Congratulations to this couple. I think they both have more strength and ability than they realize. They have really inspired me!
