An excellent article. I have emailed the article to a friend of mine, Thomas Cooke, who is the great-grandson of General Philip St. George Cooke. He lives in Richmond, VA but we have corresponded for more than ten years. My great-grandfather was with the Nauvoo Legion during the Utah War while then-Col. Cooke was commander of the Dragoons with Johnston's Army. Tommy has never been to Utah to see Camp Floyd and other sights that his ancestor covered during his time here.
