It occurs to me that you might be trying too hard. They are boys; ruff and tumble, bug chasin', couch jumping, adventure craving boys. They aren't satisfied to sit with their hands in their laps and quietly admire the sunset and the bats for more than 10 minutes. When they turn 8 and you and they go into Cub Scouts, you should see that the program is wired for boys that way. The very definition of kinetic energy is a boy in a blue uniform......

I raised 4 boys and have been a Scouter for a number of years. Boy behavior is a science.....

I realize I shouldn't even be reading this article since it doesn't apply to me, a 39 year old never married LDS woman who lives alone will probably never have the opportunity to experience motherhood. Count your blessings someone asked you out and proposed marriage to you. That you get a nine month break from menstrual cramps. Maybe the grass is greener on the other side. I should be grateful God wants me to spend the rest of my life picking marigolds because I will never be important in the life of another person as far as eternal families go.
