BYU rugby: Cougars weather rain and tough Navy team to advance to Varsity Cup championship

    The title bout will be played at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, UT. Kickoff for the championship is set for Saturday, May 3rd at 2 p.m. MT.

    Just like last year, BYU could be playing for two National Championships (Rugby and Men's Volleyball) on the same day.

    Amazing win by the Cougars! But I'm a bit confused...if the Midshipmen were a tough and formidable opponent as stated in the article, how on earth did they get squashed 60-0? It's either they were not formidable at all as portrayed or otherwise BYU was just too good. Anyhow, hope the Cougars fare as well against California for the national championship!

    Paul Lasike is an absolute stud! He brought a little bit of that football training into the game when he completely plowed that poor defender off his feet for the try!
