"Looks like they may have to move the games to the Marriott center."

Or replace the SFH with a new 6,000- to 8,000-seat arena for events like volleyball, gymnastics, and women's basketball that don't need a 22,000-seat arena.

Technically, BYU, UCLA, USC and Stanford are all in the same conference in Men's Volleyball and Indoor Track & Field - the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.

BYU 2013-2014 is the first program to win back-to-back MPSF tournament championships since BYU 2003-2004.

Last time, BYU lost in the NCAA championship match in 2003, then won the National Championship in 2004. History repeating itself.

Is anyone else puzzled by the NCAA selection of Lewis as an at-large team in the championship. Why select the 11th ranked team in the country when you could have selected a third MPSF team? Since it is at the home court of Loyola did they want to guarantee that Loyola is in the finals?

Isnt stanford from an elite conference?

Amazing play in the conf. tourney to not lose a single set. Now, doing it in Chicago may be another story, especially if meeting Loyola on their home court. The SFH gives the team an great home court advantage. Hope this team can keep attacking and send Sanders out with the NC he and the whole team deserves. Go Coug's!!

I just found the television schedule for the Men's Volleyball NCAA Championship. Thursday night 7 PM on NCAA.com live. BYU will be playing the winner of the Stanford/Erskine game from Tuesday. Possibility of meeting Stanford again. Saturday night championship game at 8 PM ESPNU. I don't know if these are Central Time. You might want to check the listings.

    Go Cougars!

Nobody bought media hype about Stanford being at the top with 14 straight wins on this BYU Cougar Men's Volleyball team Saturday night. Three straight sets for BYU to win the match. Yes, Stanford battled, but BYU reigned supreme. We were commenting after the game that BYU won the finals with the three teams they played in the minimum of NINE sets. All the other teams never won ONE SINGLE set. Awesome! Volleyball at its best.

Go Cougars in Chicago! Wish we could take some of the Fieldhouse noise with you for support. (Where can we see this on TV, anybody know?)

Feels good to dominate Stanford once again! At least one team from the state knows not only how to beat, but to dominate PAC teams.

This could be the year of another championship. Let's do it!

What an incredible week for the Cougars. Congratulations! The games were as good of volleyball as you can watch anywhere. You cannot get more impressive than to beat these top-notch teams in 3 straight sets. Good luck this week. Bring your A game.

Great game! Came all the way from So Cal to watch this win. Doesn't get much better than this, watch the son graduate from BYU then watch the Cougs beat Stanford. Had 15 relatives enjoy a great game, many were new to the BYU experience and thought it was great. It's fun to have family from all over the USA see what I have loved for years. Thanks Cougar Nation for doing it right!

Great job Cougars! And congratulations to Sanders for earning tournament MVP honors and another MPSF championship. Hope their winning ways continues on at the National and they get to bring home the hardware. They hadn't been as good on the road lately but I'm hoping their luck will change. A National Championship trophy would be a fitting end to Sanders illustrious career.

    Go Cougars!

Excitement! Volleyball has retained the real college atmosphere the big money sports have lost. Congratulations to the Y team, and respect to Stanford players as well, opponents strength is a testament to the victors acumen. Cougars conquer the Pac 12!

BYU really brought their A-game to the MPSF tournament. They are really playing well right now . The question is whether they can carry that momentum to Chicago without the energy of a packed Smith Fieldhouse full of Cougar fans . The atmosphere was awesome tonight. Young was spectacular in every aspect of the game, especially serving. I was glad to see him and Sutton make the all tournament team. As the backup setter for BYU Sutton really had a great tournament and the fact BYU didn't lose a single set is in a large part attributable to his terrific setting. McGown would be crazy to bench him for a healthy Heaps in the national Tourney.

I am really happy for Sander. Even though it wasn't his best game, he still amazes, and it was great watching a fitting finish to Sander's career at the Smith Fieldhouse.

Competitive sets but the Cougars established good runs and made enough points on serve to win the day. I enjoy championship caliber play and BYU is doing that across multiple sports again. Looking forward to both the volleyball and Rugby national tournament results.

Congratulations to BYU on winning back-to-back MPSF regular-season and tournament championships and to Taylor Sander for being named tournament MVP.

Good luck in the National Championship tournament.
