Having two grandchildren who are autistic and watching their struggles just to be understood and accepted makes this article so special to me.! We have raised this kids to know that they are "differently abled". When you see stories like this and watch Amy on Dancing With the Stars you have to cheer them on! Love them, accept them, they will teach you more than you will ever teach them.

Now let's add to the list of Michael's accomplishments "famous" (for this DN article) and "world renowned"! There's an Elder Thompson I know in Honduras that boasts about Michael and uses his example to teach the people there! Way to go Michael - the Thompson's love you!
