I doubt that "feelings of inadequacy" would be nearly as much of an issue if others in "the culture" didn't make such a big deal out of it.

The LDS are masters of telling others the "correct way" to live their lives. And they are completely right. Just ask them.

Please quit lumping us single never-married with the single-divorced group there's a HUGE difference between the stigmatism of being allowed to retain one's membership in "the married club" versus never having the opportunity to join "the club" in the first place.
