I think you misinterpreted the purpose of the other editorial. The strength of our country has always been the creativity that our schools used to foster. The people who make a difference in our world are those who know how to think outside of the box and look for new ways of doing things--the innovators. Our current school culture discouraged creativity, and we need to find ways to get back to encouraging that or else we will no longer be a nation of innovators.
