Chris B,How long is the waiting list to buy season tickets to all your
super neat PAC12 games in that smallish RES stadium? Did I miss the article
where Dr. Hill announced the expansion plans for the smallest stadium in the
mighty PAC12? Is Utah waiting for another Winter Olympics to pickup the check
like the last time? So many questions so little time before the new season!!!Go Cougs!!! Rise Up!!!
Seriously? Spring game smack? BYU doesn't have a blue white game anymore
btw. Bronco got rid of it...one of a few things he's done that bugs me. But
ute fans are going to smack about their spring game attendance?
Wow...you're on your way to PAC12 glory now...U got 15000 fans to watch a
CBWord is the pillow fight in the Rockies rivalry has gotten so
boring that they're moving it to KUED.
@Reno - We don't want your wishes of good luck. Go focus on your own team.
Leave us to ours.
Wow,attendance smack for a spring game!!! Did the MUSS also get to
practice rushing the field? How many times did the huge turnout rush the field
after the game? Good to hear nobody got hurt and the game was a success! Good
luck this season!!!Go Cougs!!! Rise Up!!!
Naval VetThe Pac-12 is a great journey and the Ute program is total
class top to bottom. Of course it's the highest attended spring game in
the state. It would be interesting to know how our attendance stacked up
against the other programs in our elite conference. It's great to see this
kind of support for our Utes and the alumni who come in from all over the
country to be here. Thanks for the coverage, DN.Go
As usual, Utah fans outnumbered byu fans in the spring game.Maybe
that's because one team has an incredible season to look forward to, and
another team's second best game against a power conference team is against
Cal, the worst team in the Pac 12.Meanwhile, I've got games
against Michigan, Oregon, Stanford, UCLA, USC, Arizona, Arizona State, and rival
Colorado to look forward to!Go UTES!Cant wait for the
So no injuries? Awesome! And not bad in the attendance part either. Despite
knowing full well this game was going to be vanilla, twice as many fans showed
up for this game than the next highest attended Spring game in the state.Go Utes!
I can appreciate that they don't want to risk injury, but a lot of these
spring games seem pointless. They practice punting by having only one guy on the
punt return team who always calls for a fair catch. With nobody rushing its
amazing how infrequently you see blocked punts. Meanwhile, you never see a
kick-off run back for a touchdown since they just put the ball on 35 yard line
while special teams guzzle their Gatorade on the sidelines. When they finally
bring out the offense, the defensive plays are so limited you really don't
know if the quarterbacks are really all that sharp or not. Its the same blitz
play every down. If only the PAC-12 were this predictable.
