Andrew Bogut is well known and well respected in Utah circles. The last several weeks have been very trying. There is a picture of Marc Gosol kneeing him in the groin as he shot. This kept him out for a number of games. When he came back, he was "elbowed" in the chest by Kenneth Farreid of the Nuggets in their 100-99 upset. This fractured a rib. The next game against Portland, LeMarcus Aldridge committed an offensive foul breaking the rib. The next game, he tried to valiantly play. He is through for the year and so are the Warriors. These are echoes of his incident while playing for the Bucks, when he was undercut, video is available on you tube, by Amare Soudamire on a breakaway dunk. This is "playoff time" and Bogut is through. There is no doubt that he was targeted. You can conjecture about why. One comment on line said that he may consider "wearing a helmet and a life jacket". I would say a flak jacket. Just as in the NFL, "targeting" must not be allowed.
