Winning the National Championship would be great, but how he handles the
disappointment if he doesn't accomplish it is a greater measure of his
person and character. I hope he achieves his goal and cement his legacy with
that. He's already the best with or without a championship!Go
Sandman! And go Cougars!
Volleyball blows me away. Those guys are huge and quick as cats. And jump!
Luckily I get to games at UCI and sometimes drive up to UCLA. I just can't
understand how those guys do what they do ... jump serves, receiving a jump
serve, setting, digging, passing, and hitting. Amazing. I used to play
volleyball in intramurals and PE. I could get maybe my elbow over the net. These
guys get their belly buttons over the net, hitting 12 or 12-foot balls!I attended the NC game last year at Pauley and BYU was flat. UCI took them in
3. Hopefully, they'll get it done this year.
Hopefully, Sander's teammates will play their hearts out--the way he has
always done--to give him the championship that he deserves. They'll have
to play a lot better than they have done recently.
Love watching Sander. He is the best volleyball player BYU has ever seen, and as
the article points out he is the COMPLETE package. He can do it all. I will
really miss him. This year's team relies heavily on him. That
being said, of late, BYU is not playing championship caliber volleyball. The
rest of the team has to step it up, especially in passing and setting. Hopefully
at home, everyone will have their act together. I hope Heap is back from his
ankle injury. Although not the best setter in the conference, he is a pretty
It would be fitting for Taylor to finish his BYU career with a National
Championship.; heaven knows that such a talented player deserves to end his
college career with such an achievement.I'm hoping his brother
will be just as good next year.
It's fun to watch Sandman all session long on BYUtv. Hope Taylor will help
to bring National Championship to BYU home this year. Go Cougars!
Let's go Taylor and the VBall team get another championship.
Nice profile on Sanders. Fun to watch the team play Stanford last year; there is
a great team element to the way they play in spite of each individaul's
shear athleticism. Keep doing what you are doing.
