Okay, I give. Why were they separated? The writer, Madeleine Brown, missed half the story.

Nice story but it doesn't say why they've been apart all those years.

Oops, I think this story was posted a tad too early! It seemed to leave out the most important information, such as: Why were they separated in the first place? The daughter is quoted, saying "..having talked to him, I now know why we have been unable to connect", but we are never given that information. Why haven't they connected until now? Is there a mother involved? Is she aware of this meeting? Do the sister's mentioned have a relationship? So many questions left unanswered.

It's great that after all those years in captivity, Johnson was finally released and that he has been reunited with his family. His story again reminds us to be careful, very careful, about traveling alone in certain countries in Central America.

My father was not in Central America. Random...
Yes, my mother was involved in the separation and she and I no longer have a relationship. She is not aware of the reunion. Unless she saw this :) My sister Mauriana and I are in contact regularly and are very close. Thank you for your support, Madeline! This has been such an adventure and what a blessing to now have him here! We will enjoy all 12 days ♡
