Sad way to lose your child. Her family must be devastated. So sorry for the loss.

Alcohol has caused many tragedies. It is a terrible curse on our culture.

What a sad shame. I am not suggesting we try prohibition again, however, there isn't a single redeeming feature of alcoholic beverages. IMO, to need alcohol (or any drug) to "relax" socially or have "fun" is a psychological disorder. Meanwhile, millions of people suffer from the negative consequences of alcohol consumption, such as health problems, broken homes, abuse, drunk driving accidents and fatalities, vulgar and obnoxious behavior, promiscuity and its consequences, etc., etc. Which reminds me of a controversial little rhyme: Those who drink Coors are intellectual bores, and none the wiser with a Budweiser. Bud light ain't right, rum is dumb, liquor sicker, cyanide quicker. Some may think that wine is fine, but even wine crosses the line between wisdom and just plain dumb. Water is the only drink for a wise man, a wise man steers clear of the silver can, a wise man's fear is another man's beer! ;O)

alcohol ruins more lives than all other drugs combined.
