The articles says that the government should chip in $4 per hour per worker so
businesses don't have to pay more. Well, where is the government getting
this money from?
Those demanding or pushing "income equality" simply do not understand
the reality of work, economics, or government. Most of all, they fail
to grasp the concept of "hard work, education and innovation" as a means
to raise one's income. Instead, they see a very small picture where
someone has more than they do, and assume it is their "entitlement" to
take it from that person for their own use... either directly, or with force by
the government.Socialism and Marxism fail every time they are tried,
leaving the "poor" even worse off, and all the formerly "rich"
people poor as well."The trouble with socialism is that
eventually you run out of other people's money to spend."
I say not only no, but heck no! We (you and I) are the government. No
government, Federal or State, has any business offering subsidies to any one.
If you cannot make enough on your own from a business, go somewhere else that
pays more. The USA is not, although it is getting more so
(unfortunately), a socialist country. Use your freedom of choice and get a
better paying job. Don't go to the government with your hands out. We, the citizens of the USA, can no longer afford to pay your wages.
