Correct about the team without Collinsworth. Which Carlino is going to show up? Matty Basketball or his evil twin?

of course I want the Cougs to win, but I really want is all the pundents to have to back track one more time on why BYU shouldn't be in. Carlino is the key, if he's ON, Haws and Mika will play free and smooth. I think one more player has to step up and hit some outside shots ( halford and Winder). It would so fun to see Digger with both feet in his mouth!

Collinsworth has been a nice addition to this team but I think he'll be easier to replace than if we had lost Eric Mika or Tyler Haws. It may take a cast of players to do a little bit each in order to pick up the slack for KC. KC is a jack of all trades but a master of none where a player like Tyler Haws is so skilled at hitting tough shots, we don't have anyone else on the team who can do what he can.

Eric Mika brings a toughness and scoring presence in the post that we don't have with any other player and with our limited depth at the center position we would be at a loss for sure.

I think we'll certainly miss KC's contributions but we have guys we can plug in that can do a little each to make up some of that difference and minimize some of the loss. Players like Tyler Haws, Anson Winder, Frank Bartley, Matt Carlino, Skyler Halford, Nate Austin, Josh Sharp, etc can pick up some of the rebounding, ballhandling/playmaking, garbage stuff, scoring and some of the perimeter defense.

While Oregon is favored it would be a sweet win for BYU just to help shove that foot-in-mouth a little deeper than it already is for Digger Phelps and Jay Williams.

BYU will need to play well, similar to how they did in the NIT run last year, to pull it off. Go Cougars
