I have to say that "lol" pretty much sums it up. No "fan" base is more deserving. And our resident troll with the constant lol's is hardly the only one. Enjoyed the game very much. New PAC 10 record for futility they said.

For those who criticized BYU:

This is delightful!

The "norm" for Utah this year was people looking past them to the next game, so they were just good enough to give a game to teams that weren't focused. Pretty sure AZ was focused on this game.

The game was a lot closer than the score...

Haha, they can't even say the refs made them loose like they always make us looze.

Is this the new norm on the hill?
I think it is personally funny that the alleged best player in the state could only score 5 points for the entire game. Every single player on the u squad had impressive triple singles for the entire 40 minutes.

Can anyone remember any division 1 team scoring less than 13 points in a entire half of any game?
You may have to dig waaaaaay back in the record books.

Thanks Cougar fans for being so supportive....not. As the article says, this was way outside the norm for the season and that's even if you take away all the easy non-conference games. Teams have bad games sometimes and this was one of those. That doesn't make the Ute's a bad team.

Ya think?

Utah did have a much improved team this season, but some Utah fans make it awfully difficult for BYU fans to be supportive when they continually go out of their to minimize every BYU accomplishment.

Like you said, teams have bad games, which is exactly what happened to BYU in the Huntsman Center. But, just as BYU recovered from a bad loss at Gonzaga, to beat the Bulldogs in the Marriott Center, one or two games do not define a season.

BYU and Utah both had their ups and downs during the season.

Overall, I think the two teams were similar in accomplishments. Utah was stellar at home. BYU was much more successful on the road.

Good luck in the NIT.

The Utes set several all time PAC-12 tournament records! None of there were positive. Bit the very best part is that we are in the PAC-12 to set those records! Positive ones will come.

@Mormon Ute:

Did you see the posts after the Gonzaga game?

Did you find supportive Ute fans? No!

This was poetic justice.
