No boos for Paul. As far as NBA players w character I would say he is in the
upper tier for sure.I would never boo this guy. He did the best he
could here. The Jazz opted not to re-sign him.Realistically and in
hindsight I think he complements Favors better that Kanter does. Paul can play
outside and stretch. Kanter can depending on the matchup but not often enough.
I really doubt that Kanter and Favors coexist here long term. I
suspect Kanter gets shopped. He will be a terrific offensive player but he is a
doormat defender and he is a Center and we already have Favors signed.Gobert needs some strength, weight, and minutes and he will be a serviceable
backup to Favors.@No Comment. Lets not get carried away about
how great all these former Jazz players are now. They may be putting up some
stats but they are in a very weak Eastern conference and Hawks have a sorry
record of 26-35. Pathetic for a veteran team. Currently only 4 more wins than
the lottery-bound Jazz!! Putting up stats on bad losing teams. Save it dude.
I hope he doesn't get boo'd. I'm alright booing d-will and
boozer. I support booing derek fisher.
Booing Paul Millsap is like booing a Titanic survivor for jumping off the ship
before it sunk.
I loved watching Paul play for the Jazz. I would give him a standing ovation for
the class he displayed, the hustle he demonstrated, and the dignity he brought
to the Jazz day in and day out.
Paul is an amazing guy. I will always follow his career and wish him the best.
He is what many player should strive to be. I also agree with many of the people
on here about Ty.
Paul's either just being modest, or he doesn't really get why fans boo
former players. Whether D-Will deserves it or not, one can at least understand
the factors in play that might lead to boos. With Millsap, none of those come
into play. The only way someone would boo this guy is if (1) you boo every good
opposing player, or (2) they didn't pay attention when Paul left and
assumed he didn't want to come back.My prediction: Standing
ovation. I'd be on board.
Nothing but respect for Paul Millsap! I will always wish him success. He
played hard for us while he was here and gave his all night after night. He
deserves nothing but cheers from the Jazz. Of course while on the free throw
line we should try and distract him tonight!
Why on earth would anybody boo Paul Milsap? Guy was a stud while he was here
who always worked hard and never caused a problem. Plus, I honestly think he
wanted to stay here, but the Jazz wanted to go in a different direction. I will
be very disappointed in Jazz fans if they boo Paul Milsap. Boo Deron Williams,
Boozer and especially Derek Fisher, but not Paul.
Who could boo Paul? He was terrific, and I'm happy for his current success.
I certainly wish we still had him here....and Junk Yard Dog as well. I suppose I
get too attached to some of these players and feel such a loss when they go
someplace else.Go Jazzboys tonight!!
Millsap deserves an applause from Jazz fans during the introduction.
Don't even think of booing Paul Millsap!
I already argued the point when D-Will came to town how rude it is to boo these
guys. Sure, maybe D-Will would have left when his contract expired but we
don't know that for sure because the Jazz traded him before that happened.
Milllsap was another veteran the Jazz chose not to resign. He did not choose to
leave. Be decent people and quit booing former Jazz players that the Jazz chose
not to resign. These are good guys that play hard for the teams that pay them
their salary. That's what every player should do.
Praise for Utah fans, and credit for his NEW coach developing his game.Interesting how he improves his game one he gets away from Ty.BTW,
anyone else notice how DeMarre, Korver and maybe Big Al as well are all enjoying
their best seasons?Amazing what a competent coach can accomplish.
Maybe instead of booing him, Jazz fans should cheer him on just because they
love him. Shock him with that reaction instead. That would be great to see!
