These tragedies hit me hard. Not as hard as they hit the families of those involved I am sure. I can't imagine growing up without a Father or a Mother.

My heart breaks for this family. Is there a trust fund set up to contribute to?

What a heart-breaking tragedy. What a huge loss to his family and extended family and to the people he worked with. It's just a darn shame that his brother couldn't revive him. Another wonderful son, husband and father and brother taken from this earth. This story brought many tears.

The tragedy is one we've seen so much here - when a father of a young family takes to the slopes or a snow mobile or rock climbing...out of passion. An avalanche has no pity. So sorry for the ones left behind.
