Being that these teams are 1-1 against each other, I'm not sure it would be much of an upset either way.

And considering I have as many conference tournament titles as Dave Rose does, this tournament will not end how byu fans want it to.

byu might get by LMU, but that's probably even 50/50

Go LMU(no one knows what the mascots are of WCC teams but insert that here)

Missouri loves BYU

Time off work... Check, Snacks.... Check, Kids excited...Check. Lets watch some BYU basketbal!

Salt Lake City, UT

I'm not horribly worried about this matchup. LMU won a fluke game early in Conference play at home. BYU won easily at home against LMU. BYU has had a much better season overall. BYU 85-75 or something like that I think will be the result.

I don't mind when Ute commenters banter back and forth with us, when their comments are objective. But when the comments are filled with bitter obsession instead of objectivity, it says something about the commenter. This game will not be close. BYU will win by double digits. Mark it down.

Even more, it really bothers me when someone comments without reading the article. If a commenter would have read the article, s/he would have known LMU's mascot within the first paragraph.

Cougs should watch out for LMU surprise #11 Stover - Incredibly athletic with a reverse layup that comes out of nowhere - and fast!

River Falls, WI

I agree with CougFaninTX that this game is a gimmie, easily double digits. I think the real suspense is in how the role players will perform. How Carlino, Halford, and Winder play tonight should be a good measuring stick for whether or not we can win this tournament.

As for the haters... obviously Chris B. knows who the mascots are, he's BYU's biggest fan. I must admit I don't know what the LMU mascot is. I also didn't know that wichita State's mascot had to do with wheat until I read an article about it today. I also had never heard of most of Utah's OOC opponents before (or most of the PAC12 mascots before Utah joined the league). There are over 300 D1 basketball teams, that's why March madness is so great, and I think we have a great shot of dancing again this season. Go Cougs!

BYU, keep an eye at all times on #11 and his reverse layup.

Dead on Samwise! Chris B, not so much. Go Cougars
