Has an Amber Alert been posted? Do we still use this method to help find the children who are missing?

What a relief. We always fear the worst in these situations. I guess the best case scenario is that she wandered around until she fell asleep somewhere. If that's all that happened, there are some very relieved parents out there who, after the most terrifying night of their lives, will make sure it never happens again.

Children are vulnerable and those who have diminished capacities are even more so.
This is a wonderful miracle for this girl and her family, made even greater by strangers who really care.

This is a wonderful ending to a frightening experience. I know prayers are answered and that you had many of them being said for sweet girl.

Sweet tears for Ashley and her family! Our prayers have been answered.

I may be wrong, but I do not recall earlier reports mentioning this child had "diminished mental capacity." Personally, I believe this type of information is very important to the public; I think the police are at times too secretive about hints which might prove helpful. Our family is extremely grateful this girl was found; blessings to the observant couple.

Just so glad both this girl at WV and a boy at Utah County are found and safe. Glad it is over with happy ending.
