And yet with all of these crappy recruits that the Aggies keep getting, they are still 1-1 the past 2 seasons against the mighty pac 10.2 utes. Chris, is your favorite song "Counting Stars" by OneRepublic? Thought so.....

Provide a link please, Chris. Rivals' database isn't fully updated. If you're going to run smack, it's probably a good idea to have your sources ready.

I thought members of the big bad PAC had bigger fish to fry than pick on their supposed non- BCS brethren. I guess not.

Sports Nutz,

Why did you choose to look at just the last 2 years?

Why not the last 5, or 10, or 15, or 30?

LOL!

Chris, I will try AGAIN to answer on here and hope that my post makes it through. I choose to look at the here and now and as I see it, utah has a lot more resources than Utah State and yet they are getting much less out of them. Both have coaches leaving the past few years but the Aggies are losing them because other (bigger) schools want them to come and make them better. While the utes are losing coaches because they aren't getting the job done, and next year will most likely clean house. The Aggies finished the 2012-13 season ranked in the Top 20 and wrapped up 2013-14 beating (at the time) a 1 loss Top 20 team in a Bowl game. Any way that you try and spin it, the Aggies are on the rise while the utes will continue to bring up the rear in the pac 10. Mark it down.....

stang, I highly doubt you "speak" for either team. College Football Fans that know the game, know that the gap between USU, BYU and utah is closer than in the 1960's and that is all that matters right now. I just wish there were some way to have suu close the gap with Dixie and Weber State, but sadly I know there isn't much chance of that becoming a reality.

Chris, you can take the Utes out of the WAC, but you can't take the WAC out of the Utes. Might as well embrace it. I like the Aggies as a mid-major.

They're what the Utes USED TO BE: blue-collar, motivated, and tough. I wouldn't have it any other way, quite frankly.

Actually, USU was ahead of both Utah and BYU in the 1960s and 1970s. In that 20 year time-frame, the Ags had a winning record against both schools on the gridiron. Changes in USU's administration and the effects of independence finally took their toll on the program after 1983, though.

I sure am glad the dark ages for Aggie football (1984-1992, 1998-2008) are over. President Albrecht and AD Scott Barnes sure have found a great formula for success in Logan. I'm stoked for the stadium renovations to take place!

I know the Aggies were ahead of utah and BYU during the 60's, but the 70's byu started putting together really good teams. I was saying that it's been quite awhile since the Aggies were able to actually call these games "rivalry" games. It sure is nice what is going on in Logan.

When we play Dixie and it's rare, we beat them. And as far as the rivalry with Weber goes it's always close. It's anyone's guess who will win the game year by year. So you are a little off. My statement in regards to USU/Utah/BYU was spot on and you know it. The dark ages? Like when Brent Guy was your coach. Those were truly dark ages for you. Sorry but you guys have convinced me even more that there is no rivalry between the big 2 and USU.

The scores of the past couple of years between the Aggies vs. utah/byu shows that the Aggies have battled back from the BG era and are doing just fine. Fans of all 3 schools know that at this point the games could go either way. For the Aggies to get to the level they are now with far less resources, says a lot about the work done by Coaches, Players and Administration. Go Aggies!

Yes, stango the level of the Wac may not be that high but it's higher than suu and the rest of Region 5.

Good times....LOL.....SUU can't even come close to competing with USU. But hey at least you get to keep coming on here and pointing out how we keep losing (Barely) to Utah and BYU.

Things are looking up in Logan, things are staying the same in Provo, and things are looking much less promising in Salt Lake (Have you seen next year's schedule?!?!? There's three gimmes on that thing at best!). Just the way I've been seeing it the last few years.

Oh and trying to reason with SUU's only fan just isn't worth it. He's the winner of a race that ended three hours ago you didn't even know you were entered in!

@Sports Nutz

They've been on the losing end more times then not. Don't get the region 5 plug since we are talking about college football. This didn't start talking about SUU but the other SUU fan's up in Logan made it that way. So Sambone, I'm not the only SUU fan. You, Sports Nutz, and aggfan77 are right there with me. I win? Awesome I win and everyone knows I'm right. About everything including all the true Thunderbirds around here.
