What a sad, miserable individual he is. His wife divorced him because he was addicted to porn. What is left of his family can't stand him. His two sons are gone. Yet Steven Powell continues to clamor around proclaiming his innocence.

For the love of Pete...
Why is this STILL in a Salt Lake Newspaper?

What did Ted Bundy's father do?
What did Gary Gilmore's father do?
What did Mark Hoffman's father do?
What did Butch Cassidy's father do?

Josh Powell [Steve's son] was the ONLY suspect,
and he is now dead...

Steve's problems in Washington State are Steve's problems in Washington State.
It has nothing to do with Susan or Utah.

What is with this crazy and bizarre infatuation with him here?

Seriously -- what gives?

Ted, Gary, Mark and Butchs' fathers were not suspected of assisting his son in the "death" of the wife/daughter in law. But we do know that he had perverse feelings towards his daughter in law. There is not any evidence, nor was there with his son, but we now know that his son was capable of murder, when he killed his two little boys. Do you really think it is infatuation? You must suffer a little of that, for reading the article. But Steve has a very strong effect on the people of Utah and he played a strong role in the creating of events to the end of them, he raised these kids, who had no problem killing themselves and the one killing his own children.

Has this man no conscience at all? No sense of guilt for the horrible things he did?

And neither has Steven Powell.

This guy hasn't even been arrested, indited, or even suspected with Susan.
and we have a Consitution that assures Innocent until proven guilty.

I don't now about his conscious or sense of guilt,
but
I remind you he DID serve time in jail,
for those horrible things he did.

You guys want a witch hunt?
You want a kangaroo court,
You want a Banana Republic...

BTW --
Thanks, ALL of you -- for Trampling the Constitution of the United States and for making it hang by a thread.

The punishment does not fit the crime.
