@mussingaround"Utah fans delusionally believe that Utah would
somehow be more competitive in a rematch on the road at BYU than they've
been against anybody else they've played on the road this season.LOL at their misguided arrogance!"byu fans are delusional
believing that byu, from the WCC, is equal to the PAC-12 schools.LOL
at their misguided arrogance!
Gotta love all the mid-major WCC comments on this University of Utah PAC-12
ute94"As for BYU fans that continue to knock Utah's
schedule, this speaks for itself..."Nope, what really says it
all is this:#37 BYU(19-10) #18 SOS, 6-7 vs RPI Top 100#97
Utah(17-9) #142 SOS, 4-8 vs RPI Top 100BYU's #18 SOS is
considerably better than Utah's #142 SOS.Next time, consider
the entire season, not just the 2nd half.
Utah has played well especially at home. You have got to hand it to their new
coach. It was a great hire and Utah is back. It is great to have all the
programs in Utah playing well.
"Utes get back to work"Hopefully they're getting back
to work on free throws and interior passing. Even those who don't like Utah
were embarrassed by the 4 consecutive bricks from the free throw line and the
line drive pass over the big fella's head into the 4th row of fans...both
monumental blunders that need to be worked on.
No matter what, the season has already exceeded most expectations. I do think
the Utes will win out at home, and would love to see them split on the road.
Coach K has done a great job resurrecting this team from the
dumpster fire it was but 2 season ago. Go Utes!!
KHDespite Ute fans' vain attempts to validate their entire
season with a single head-to-head win, one game does not a season make.Utah won the battle versus BYU and Stanford - but Stanford won the conference
championship and both teams played in a bowl.Utah won the battle
versus BYU on their home floor for the first time in 5 years, but BYU looks to
be playing in the Big Dance, while the Utes will once again be on the outside
looking in.#37 > #97 regardless of how you spin it.
There is always an imaginary "rematch victory" over the Utes after the
real game has been played. We heard it all last year in football and now
we're hearing it in basketball. Please stick to the game that was actually
played. Not the one you imagined in your head.
ekuteUtah fans delusionally believe that Utah would somehow be more
competitive in a rematch on the road at BYU than they've been against
anybody else they've played on the road this season.LOL at
their misguided arrogance!
The Utes are young and they played tight against Az. and UCLA. Loosen up and
have fun. Bright future for this program.byu "fans", go
ahead and hang your hats on a rematch, just like you always do in football. lol.
ute94, No mention of Utah's actual RPI or SOS in your PAC-12 advertisement?
Of course, that would just further accentuate the embarrassing pre-season
schedule. It was comical during Wednesday's game to hear the PAC
homer announcers tout Utah's impressive W-L record without a whisper of who
they beat OOC or the venue for the victories.
ute94"BYU has played a total of 6 teams in the current RPI top
50"Why do Utah fans resort to completely distorting the facts to
make themselves feel better? There's a reason BYU is ranked
SIXTY places higher than Utah.#37 BYU is 6-7 versus RPI Top 100, 3-5
versus Top 50, and has an overall SOS of #18.#97 Utah is 4-8 versus
RPI Top 100, 2-6 versus Top 50, and has an overall SOS of #142.THREE
of BYU's Top 100 were road/neutral wins, including a Top 50 win, while
Utah's ONLY road win was against #140 USC.
@ute94Oregon Stanford and Cal are not good teams gimme a break, the media
pumps the Pac up just like the SEC in football. They get the we are good because
we play each other treatment.
Down under"It is hilarious that the utes fans their entire
season on beating BYU."Especially when they know perfectly well
that the Utes would most likely lose in a rematch at BYU, just like they have in
every rematch on the road in the PAC 12, with the exception of lowly USC, the
worst team in the PAC 12.
I think it's funny Utah fans are getting so upset about these close losses.
Yeah it's disappointing but we have to remember just 2 years ago we were
6-25 with a completely different team. What can we really expect from a team
starting freshman, sophomores and what one junior? And the lone senior rarely
plays. I think as Utah fans you have to keep things into perspective of what
we're dealing with. Sure these guys are talented enough to beat any team in
the Pac-12, but they just have to put everything together and that's just
part of the process and it'll come with time.As for BYU fans
that continue to knock Utah's schedule, this speaks for itselfRPI Pac-122. Arizona13. UCLA24. Colorado31. Arizona

@CBWhere's your sure fire predictions of National championships and
big boy conference domination? Oh and the ever present spinning on a loss?
CB"Love the way the guys have fought this year."You mean choked in close games.
It is hilarious that the utes fans their entire season on beating BYU. And no
BYU does not fall into the patsie category but Grand Canyon elementary and St.
Katherines jr. College certainly would. Patsies don't schedule the 18th
hardest schedule in the country adn still have a winning record. Patsies do
however schedule the 350th easiest preseason schedule in the country thinking
that it will make them a top 10 team.I also thibk that it is
interesting that u fans have such short memories and conveniently forget how the
last 13 games went against BYU. They get a win or two every decade and think
that they are the better team. LOL
@ Real Bass"Looks like that patsy preconference schedule did
nothing to get u ready for tough games like this"I guess BYU
falls into that category of patsy teams Utah demolished this season.
Real Bass,That patsy preconference schedule included a dominating
win over BYU.
Love the way the guys have fought this year.Clearly Loveridge needs
to work on his shot, but the sky is the limit for the guy. He'll be
winning a lot of games for us these next two years.Lets finish
strong and do some damage in the conference tournament.Go Utes>--->
@Real Bass:Got to disagree with you.Preconference
schedule did improve the utes. Compare this, and last year.
He will get an earlt start to the off season to work on his shot
The sad thing is loveridge is considered u's best player and the center of
JL is a great player. I can't believe how many fair weather fans are ready
to throw him under the bus. You have a young man with proven talent. Whete
does the coaches responsibility come into consideration? Did anyone look at the
team aspect of the game or of some other players trying to showcase. Give him a
break. Plenty of other teams would take him in a heartbeat.
Looks like that patsy preconference schedule did nothing to get u ready for
tough games like this.
"Sophomore forward Jordan Loveridge also had a tough outing. He was just
1-of-12 from the field and missed a free throw with 28 seconds remaining in
regulation that would have put Utah ahead. Loveridge, who finished with seven
points, said it was just one of those games where shots weren’t
falling." -- DNIt's 1 of those 11 PAC-12 games where his
shooting was below 40%, or 1 of those 5 PAC-12 games where he shot below 20%.I'm hoping he resolves his shooting problems over the off-season.
Good luck with that.
